Can I buy a high speed train ticket (CRH train from CQ to Chengdu ) 12 days in advance from the train ticket office inside CQ airport?3. In case I have  booked the CRH train ticket online and already got the e-ticket , can I exchange it to a papar ticket at the train ticket office inside CQ airport ? 4. Can I also buy a high speed train ticket  (12 days in advance) from the train ticket office inside Chengdu  airport?

I think it would be better for me to book for the high speed train (CQ - Chengdu & reverse) in advance .I think that after arriving at CQ airport at 10.20am. , I will exchange for the paper tickets at the train ticket office inside the airport then  leave for CQ Bei train station to catch the high speed train to Chengdu.  Is it possible to do this ?  To do this, How much time do I need to spare and at what time should I book for the high speed train ? Please advise. Please also give me the exact location of the train ticket offices both at CQ airport and at  Chengdu airport .

Yes, you can get the paper ticket in CQ Airport. The rail ticket office can be found in the departure hall of the terminal building. The ticket office in Chengdu Airport is at Gate 1 of domestic arrival hall in Terminal 1. If there is no queue, it just takes several minutes to get your ticket. If many people line up there, you may need to wait 10-20min.Usually, you are advised to prebook the tickets at least 10 days ahead. If your trip will be during peak season, it would be best to book 18-20 days in advance.
