About:China Visa Application Requirements

Visa Pages

Hi..."at least one pair of blank facing pages" - how strict is this requirement? since i dont have a pair of blank pages. Though i have a blank page.

It is very strict, so I think it is impossible to obtain one if you only have one blank page. It requires you to have two blanks.
If possible, you can still contact the embassy for confirming this issue.

Thanks for the response. Just for my curiosity/GK - Why some countries need pair of blank pages instead of one black page since every application is usually a one page thing barring few exceptions?

There is no certain reason for it and it depends on the laws of differnet countries.
