About:China Train

Are the high speed G trains wheelchair accessible, i.e. can I board on and off the trains easily?

Can I board on and off the high speed trains easily when at stations and is there definitely going to be space behind the chairs to store the folded mobility scooter that I must travel with please? And do I need to notify the trains before I purchase the tickets of my needs with the mobility scooter please? How about notifying the train crew also during boarding please?

You can take the wheelchair with you and board the train directly since this is the necessity. You can put it at the connection of carriages of just besides your seat. If you need any help you can ask the railway staff for help at any time.

Thank you for the information. I see that the gap between the platform and the train seems to be too large. Are they equipped with a metal plate or something that I can use to bridge that gap please, do you know?

Some platforms have the plate but some haven't. You can ask for help from the railway staff in advance, they will help you board the train and take you to your seat. And in fact, for most G-types, the platfrom is the same hight as the train
gate, it will be easier for boarding.
