About:Chinese Embassy in South Korea

What do I need to do if I want to leave China and go to South Korea?

According to what I know, US citizens needn't apply visas if they want to visit South Korea. So you can enter South Korea with your valid passport. If you are unsure about this, you may contact the consular department to confirm this.
