us passport holder staying in france for month want to apply visa to visit china

Hello,i am a us citizen staying in france for long vacation and want to visit PRC, 2 cities for 4 nights. I only have my passport with me is there anything else I need to apply for L type. I left my drivers license at home and other proof of address.

Kat, you should also provide confirmed round-trip air tickets and hotel booking. Also proof of legal status is required. It refers to certificates of residence, employment or student status, or other valid certificates of legal status in France.
