About:Visa Policy of China

Transit or normal visa, do we need to apply or not?

Hello! Me and my family will arrive in Beijing on 30 dicember 2014 at 6.30 a.m. With a flight Singapore-Beijing and we will depart on 01 january 2015 at 13.30 (p.m.) with a flight Beijing-Roma. We have a hotel booking for 30-31 dicember 2014 in Beijing. Thanks a lot! Best regards!

Mihaela, you will be eligible for 72 hours free transit in Beijing if the 72 hours is counted from the 00:00 of next day. This has been applied at Guangzhou airport. However, I am not sure if Beijing airport adopts this. You may contact the airport at 0086-10-56095400 to confirm this. If you can't get their reply, I think you'd better apply for a L type in advance. This ensures that you won't have any trouble when you arrive in Beijing.
