About:China Transit Visa

I have a five and half hour transit layover in Beijing

Hello I am an American traveling from New York to Singapore. With a connecting flight in Beijing my out bound flight and return flight both have connecting flights in Beijing My out bound flight has a five hour and half layover and return has a three hour layover. Will I need a visa, if so do I need to apply twice?

Yasin, you needn't apply for any type in advance because US citzens enjoy 72 hours free transit at Beijing Capital airport as long as they have valid US passports and onward air tickets.
