bad idea to visit beijing sep 28 - oct 3?

We are planning to visit Beijing september 28 to October 3. Is this a bad time to visit? Will it be too crowded?

To be honest, it will be crowded from Oct 1 to Oct 3 in most of places, because it is Chinese golden week. If you have already arrange your trip well, you are suggested to book as many as tickets in advance to avoid crowds. Besides, you can choose to start your day trip a little bit early to avoid bad transportation on the road.
