About:Chinese Embasy in Ireland

I am travelling to australia in November 2014 and what about visa issu?

We both hold valid Irish Passports

My travel arrangements are as follows:
Dublin to Hong Kong for 7 days
Hong Kong to Shanghai for 2 days
Cruise from Shanghai to Vietnam, Cambodia and Signapore for 8 days
Flight from Signapore then to Australia for 3 weeks

Do I need it cover far east trip?

I have no idea whether you need to apply a permit to enter Singapore, Vietnam, Cambodia.
I only know that you need to have a Transit G to enter Shanghai and you can only use your passport to enter HK for no more than 90 days.
