About:Shanghai Pudong Airport

Shanghai Pudong Intl Airport to Hangzhou City

2 adults + 2 kids (less 12 yo) + 3 luggage (L+M+S). Our major concern will be handling the three bulky luggage for the entire journey right from landing at the airport to take Metro Line 2 to Hongjiao Railway Station including changing train at Guanglan Station in between, then reach Hongjiao Railway Station and take the high-speed train to Hangzhou City. Please advise.
To do the above, we plan to land at the airport either around 0700 or 1500 on a Saturday, which is the better time?

Actually, both are OK, for the metro ride is about 2 hours. If you take the high-speed trains to Hangzhou, it will take about 1 hour. So you have plenty of time. Don’t worry about that and just take your time.

We are more concern about handling the three bulky luggage from one point to the other.
Besides, what about the availability of tickets at the last minute as it will be on a Saturday.
