Just got a job contract in china for one year and I'm about to get married, how can I take my future wife with me to china? I have been reading on this website but I'm not quite sure on what to do. I need help, please.

After you get married, you can ask your wife to apply for a S1 type to stay with you in China for a long time.  For applying it, she needs to provide her valid passport, application form with recent taken photo, your marriage certificate, your invitation letter, copy of your residence permit. You need to apply in your own country. If you have not get married, she cannot get a S1 to stay with you, but just apply for a Tourist L to stay with you for a short period, around 30 days or a little more.
