Can an Australian foreigner obtain z visa from Chinese embassy in Korea?

I am an Australian citizen living in Korea. I have an e2 visa. I now wish to work (teach) in China. I will receive a letter of invitation. Can I give this letter of invitation to the Chinese embassy in Korea or MUST I travel back to the Chinese Australian embassy in Sydney.

Do you have an ARC for staying in Korea?
If you have it with at least 6 monthes' remaining validity, you can apply in Korea.
For applying, one invitatio letter is not enough if you want to work. You still need to have an Alien Employment Permit issued by the company, your ARC card, valid passport, application form and recent taken photo.
