Travel before mid-autumn festival

Hello! We are visiting shanghai now and it seems to be less crowded in restaurants and bars than the last time we visited Shanghai. Do many locals leave the City during this week to other parts of the country?

Mike, mid-autumn holiday is just one days. Counting Saturday and Sunday, there are just three days. Some people may take a short-trip to neighboring areas. Three days are too short. So I am afraid that most people just stay in their cities. You may encounter the crowdedness during the three-day mid-autumn festival holiday.
