About:Marriage Registration in China

Singaporean marrying in china

Hi, I'm a Singaporean, thinking of marrying my Chinese gf. If we were to register in china, all I need to provide is my birth cert, passport n single status cert right?
1) where to get the single status cert in Singapore?
2) I just need to get my birth cert translated to Chinese?
Which is actually easier? Registering first in Singapore or registering in china?

Thanks

CW, you need to acquire a single certificate from Rigistry of Marriage in Singapore. Together with your birth certificate, you should notarized in your local system and then get them authenticated by Chinese embassy. The last step is to find a qualified translation company to get your documents translated in Chinese. Then you can take your doucments to register your marriage in China with your GF.
