How to get china visa ?

I hear someone told me now china embassy not allow for single girls go for a walk there by themselves, is it real? Anyways now I have the plan go to visit china , how can I get a permit?

I did not hear this kind of news ever. If you can provide enough documents to show that you can support your expense for traveling in China, you can get a Tourist L to visit China.
Generally speaking, you need to provide your valid passport, application form with recent taken photo, your hotel booking in China, round trip tickets to China, your specific routes on each other, your employed proof, bank statement (the money on it can support your traveling in China). Then you can go to the local embassy for applying.
