How to go from Jade Garden Hotel to the the Beijing West Rail station by subway?

I want to catch the high speed train from BJ to Xi'an. Please also explain how to go from the West subway platform to the High speed train to Xian platform.

You can walk or take a taxi to Tian’anmen East to take the subway line 1 and get off at the Military Museum. Then transfer to line 9 to the railway station.
