China visit with one way ticket

Hai...
I am planning to visit China using a tourist visa.. With 30 days stay...But I heard that we can extend its validity to 30 more days once you were there...so I need to stay there for one month then extend it and stay 30 more days... But Iam confused with policy that.. I wil need a round way trip ticket for purpose... How can I book return ticket.. If I am not sure wheater they allow me to extend it or not..

It is right that you can extend your Tourist L when you reach in China, but it is not assured that you get an approval from the local PSB.

There is no other ways, since the rules require you to provide your round trip tickets for application. Maybe you can book first and then cancel it after you get your Tourist L.

Thank u Allen...

But most of the airlines won't allow ticket cancelation... they won't refund our money.. Can I apply for any other type..which I can stay for 60 days in a single entry...

You go there to for visiting?
If so, you cannot apply another type. Do you have a friend or known people in China? If so, you can ask them to send you an invitation letter. With the invitation letter, the round trip tickets are not necessary.

Hai Allen.. Yes I have friend over there who is also an india who study medicine there with student type...an invitation letter from him is that enough to travel without roundtrip ticket for me?

Yes, you needn't provide round-trip air tickets and hotel reservation if you have the invitation letter. Your friend should also send copies of his passport information page and X type or temporary residence permit for study.
