About:China Student Visa

I have recieved my x1 visa but have since misplaced my jw202 form. Can I get a replacement?

I know that I have 30 days to submit this to the PSB in order to get a residence permit. Does anybody know the procedure, or even if it is possible at all, to get a replacement form?

For getting a replacement? Do you mean get a replacement for the form JW202?
It is suggested to contact the embassy for asking to find your JW202. If it cannot be found, you may need to contact the school to consult another method.

For applying a residence permit, you need to register in your university. After that you can get a introduction letter from your school. With letter, you need to go to the Exit-Entry Adminstration Bureau to do a health examination and then use the health certificate, you introduction letter, admission letter, your Form JW202, application form with recent taken photo, your valid passport to apply for a residence permit at the Bureau.

Thanks Alger, I am going to the embassy now but I am not sure that they will be able to help as I have lost the original JW202 document . hopefully they will be able to advise me on how to get a new JW202 form. I have contacted the college but the international affairs office is closed until September. Has anybody ever heard of this situation before? Is it possible to get the JW202 replaced?
