Travel Document valid period inquiry

I have applied a travel document and Visa to Hong Kong on it using my Taiwanese passport to travel to Hong Kong in June 2013.

However I have lost the travel document after moving to Singapore early this year.
And I need to travel to China for a friend’s wedding in September 2014.
I am not sure whether the lost travel document still valid.

Please advise if the travel document is valid, do I need to cancel it so i can apply a new travel document in Singapore?
If I do what are the steps I need to do as it is kind of urgent… Thank you for your kind assistance!

Usually, the travel documents has a valid of one or two years and I have no idea about your document's idear. You are suggested to consult the embassy in Singapore for confirming it.

If you apply a new one, your lost one will be invalid. You do not need cancel your lost one. For applying a new one, you need to sumbit your application form, recent taken photo, your valid passport, your residence permit in Singapore to apply in your local embassy. You are suggested to call the embassy for asking detail information about it. Then you can avoid many troubles when applying.
