Shopping in Qingdao

I am familiar with shopping in Guangzhou and I am particularly fond of wholesale and second hand markets. Does QD have similar markets or are they mostly big commercial retail stores and malls?

But what kind of products do you want? I know there is a Chengyang Wholesale Market, where you can find flowers and vegetables as well as clothing nearby. Also there is a Wenchangge Second-hand Market in the city, where you usually can find many good items.

It is more about the exploring than the buying for me, but traditional Chinese style clothes and tech usually get my attention. I was in Nanjing recently and enjoyed the Fuzimao area fun, but found tech related markets disappointing compared to markets around Haizhu district in Guangzhou. I found Qipu lu in Shanghai fun too.

Oh, I see. Then you can go to local Jimo Road Small Items Wholesale Market at no. 47, Liaocheng Road. It is as interesting as the Qipu Road in Shanghai. I believe you will have fun there.
