How do you apply for a Mainland Chinese/ PRC Passport, as a Hong Kong SAR citizen?

-Automatic Chinese nationality with HKSAR Passport and Permanent Residence card
-Convenient Locations: Hong Kong, the UK, Thailand, or Mainland China
-Does applying for a PRC passport mean renouncing an HKSAR one?

HKSAR residents who are of Chinese descent and were born in the Chinese territories can gain Chinese nationality. If you have a HKSAR passport and permanent residence does not mean you can gain Chinese nationality automatically.
