About:Beijing Travel

GAP year in Beijing. What visa to apply?

My son is interested in going on a GAP year to work in a school as a teacher of English to Kindergarten children. He will live in the school boarding house. Is "Business F" the correct type of Visa application he needs?

Yes, F visa will work.

No, F is the wrong type. You are not allowed to work in China on the F-visa (e.g. you cannot receive a salary from China, you won't have a work permit to teach English).

Yeah, I agree with Lise. Z visa is the only type that is granted to a foreigner working in China for the purpose to get a salary.
