can you tell me if its faster to go by train to Shantou from Hong kong? rather than bus?

Actually, the direct cross-border coach is faster than train, which requires several transfers on the way. The boarding sites in HK are Sheung Wan Connaught Road West, in front of Cityview Hotel and Fanling Railway Station. It takes around 5h.1
