About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit

Crew member going to shanghai for pleasure for 48 hrs

Flight attendant wanting to fly from Detroit to Narita,, Japan for 24 hrs, then fly to Shanghi for 48 hrs, then back to Narita for 24 hrs then back to Detroit. Can I use 72 hr visa? I could also just fly back to Detroit from Shanghi back to Detroit. I have to keep my crew visa current as I fly to china regularly and you can not have both the regular visitor type and crew type at same time.

Lisa, I think you'd better keep your crew visa for your stop in Shanghai. The 72 hours free transit requires your passport and confirm air tickets in hands.
