Transit visa issue in China

Hello
Here is my problem, I have a Swiss passport, I am traveling from Hanoi to Guangzhou and then Guangzhou to Shanghai, I am leaving to Europe 2 days after. Is it possible to make the transit one in Hongqiao or do I HAVE to do it in Guangzhou. My flight to Europa is leaving from Shanghai.

Considering the time, you will stay in China for over 24 hours, right?
If so, you cannot enjoy the 24-hour free transit. Since your flight is Hanoi - Guangzhou - Shanghai - Europe, you can neither enjoy the 72-hour free transit.

So you need to apply for a ordinary Transit G type to transfer in China before you enter China, such as in Hanoi or in your home country.
