About:Beijing Capital Airport Express Train

Beijing Airport Taxi at 01.00 AM

We'll be arriving in BJ around 1 AM using Air Asia, what's the best way to get to the Wayfujing area to my hotel? Since I read the Airport doesn't operate anymore around that time, is it easy to get taxi? Is there an official taxi, so we won't get ripped off? And how much will that usually cost? Thank you...

The airport shuttle bus night line 2 is still in operation, you can take it and get off at the Chaoyangmen Station. Then take a taxi to Wangfujing, about 3.5km.

As for taxi, you can easily find one. Most official taxis are orange and green, personally speaking, they are quite safe. The fare is about CNY100.

We r still considering the shuttle bus & taxi options.. Supposed taxi is more efficient as long as it's really safe n no scam.. Especially around that time?
Is that line 2 airport shuttle bus the one that also stops at dongzhimen? Does it always stop at stations?
Untill what time it actually operates? Coz it's always said only until last domestic flight arrives? And since we r coming internationally, i guess it's not gonna wait for us?

Yes, you are right. I also noticed that the night bus line 2 operates till the arrival of last domestic plane, so it is hard to tell the exact timing. I suggest you take a taxi to ensure a smotth trip. Taxis there are in operation for 24 hours. Don't worry!
