Indian Passport Holder on Business Trip to Japan, Can I visit China and return back to Japan?

I am Indian and have a valid multiple entry Business visa to Japan. I want to go China (Shanghai) for 3 days to attend a friend's wedding. Can I get a visa from Japan to China and return back to Japan?
