You just go there for sightseeing or for meetings or any other thing?
If just for sightseeing, no support letters are needed. You can enjoy a 14 days visa free policy to enter HK. When entering, you need to provide your hotel booking in HK and round trip flights to HK for the officer. Then you may get your stamp, otherwise, you may be rejected.
