About:Chinese Currency & Money Exchange

On arrival in Beijing Airport, what is the best way to convert US$ into Chinese currency?

Do you recommend we convert currency at the airport on arrival or at the hotel? We are staying at the Crowne Plaza in Beijing and I don't know if their rate of exchange is good. I don't want to search for a bank in the vicinity of the hotel the next morning and waste time!

Vivienne, the exchange rate at the airport money exchange counter isn't good. You may just exchange a small amount to pay for the taxi, subway or public bus. The hotel usually charge you service fee. If possible, I suggest you visit some banks and exchange your money there. The exchange rate is better than your hotel, I think.
