Since you only have 36 hours stopover in Beijing, you can enjoy the 72-hour free transit policy without a transit G. Upon reaching Beijing airport, you can go to the 72-hour free transit counter to apply for a stay permit stamp with your valid passport and your onward tickets to a third country.
