About:Hong Kong MTR Tickets & Fares

HK Airport express travel pass

We are going to stop in HK for 3 days and if we buy the airport express travel pass, can we use it to go to Po Lin Monastery by cable car? And can we also use it to take buses ferry and train?

If you top up the card, you can use it as ordinary Octopus to take ferry and buses, but you cannot take the cable car.
If you don't deposit money in the card, you can only use the card to take the airport express and MTR trains, except Light Rail, East Rail Line First Class, Lo Wu and Lok ma Chau.

but it says if you get Airport Express Travel Pass (HK$220 / HK$300) it includes 3 consecutive days of unlimited ride on MTR, correct?

" Airport Express Travel Pass (HK$220 / HK$300)
-This is an Octopus Card with either 1 or 2 Airport Express single journey(s) plus 3 consecutive days of unlimited ride on MTR (except Airport Express, East Rail Line First Class, Lo Wu and Lok Ma Chau stations).
-Ticket is restricted to visitors who are non-Hong Kong residents and have stayed in Hong Kong for less than 14 days"

Yes, yes. You got it. It can be used on Airport Express and unlimited travel on MTR for 72 hours. But it is invalid on bus and ferries with the original value of 220HKD or 300HKD.
