About:

Shanghai airport to Zhejiang University Helen Chinatefl Network Hangzhou

Hi, I will be landing in SH on the 27th August around the afternoon. Could you advice me of the best option to get to Hangzhou. Thanks

There are direct buses from the airport to Hangzhou, you can take that. The destination is about 3 km from the drop-off spot. You can take a taxi there.

I'm in a dilemma if i should get the metro & train or to get the long distance bus from the airport. It seems to me it would take about 3hrs either way as it says it takes 90mins on the metro to just get to the train station from the airport- and then another hr or so on the train. But there would be a lower risk of traffic congestion compared to the bus. Do you think the bus is the best option?

Jojo is right, taking the bus is the easiest way for you, which save the trouble of transferance.
