Can I as a UK passport holder born in UK apply in HK for a multiple entry business visa

I want to apply for one staying 90 or 180 days even though I am not a resident of HK?

If you have a UK passport, you can try use it to apply fo a multiple entry M type with long stay of duration, but the embassy/consulate has the right to decide the length you stay in China and how many entries you can get on your Business F.
