Applying for Hong Kong visit visa from Dubai and receiving the Stamp in Sri Lanka

Currently I'm working in Dubai and when I inquired from the Chines consulate here, they asked me to send my documents directly to Hong Kong immigration for approval. As per them it will take around 1 month.

My concern is by that time, I will be in Sri Lanka. Assuming that I will get the approval, will I be able to get my visa stamped from the Chinese consulate in Sri Lanka?

If you mail directly, you cannot get it from the Chinese embassy/consulate in Sri Lanka. The HK immigration department will deliver it to you directly based on your address. It is not assured that it can delivered to your address in Sri Lanka, so you are sugested to confirm this with the HK Immigration Department directly.
