Visit and Stay at Mount Wudang

Hi,
I and friends have planned to visit the mountain in mid-October this year for a 4-days stay.

We would like to do trekking up the mount, is it advisable? We would also like to know if we can check-in on spot along our journey up the mount, or any suggestion?

Since there are two routes up the mount, can we use one route up and then come down the other route?

Is mid-October a good time to visit , we prefer a time not to pack with visitors.

If you are in good condition, you can trek up the mountain. It’s energy and endurance challenged. And you can choose to linger at the spots you are interested for a while.

You can climb up and down following the two routes. The weather of mid of Oct. is good for hiking and it is also during peak season there, so u may meet crowds there.
