how to renew an s2 visa

I am working in China as a teacher with a visa that expires in January. My 18yr old daughter is visiting us on an S2 which expires at the end of this month.  We would like to know how we can extend the S2 Can she extend it from within China or will she need to go out to Hong Kong. Thanks.

For extending, you can do it within China. You can go to the local Exit-Entry Adminstration Bureau for extending your daugther S2 for staying.
