What is the duration of the Li River cruise? Food on board?

We are travelling from Guilin to Yangshuo on the Li River cruise in October. What is the duration of the cruise? I have heard conflicting comments about the food served on the cruise. I would appreciate comments and suggestions on the food and if you recommend we take a packed picnic meal with us. Does this cruise return to GL in the evening?

Hi, the cruise takes around 4.5h. It operates a one way trip from GL to Yangshuo, so it won't take any passenger back from Yangshuo.

Thre food onboard is just so-so. If possible, prepare some on your own.

There are toilets on board and passengers can use it for free.
