About:Shanghai Metro Ticket

shanghai subway single ticket valid time

1) HI, IF I BUY THE SINGLE TICKET AND I GET ON AT LAOXIMEN STATION, BUT I WOULD LIKE TO GET OFF AT PEOPLE SQUARE FIRST ,AND HANG AROUND IN PEOPLE SQUARE FOR 3 OR 4 HOURS THAN LATER ON GET ON AT PEOPLE SQUARE TO SH RAILWAY STATION. CAN I DO THAT . IS THERE A TIME LIMIT FOR SINGLE JOURNEY TICKET.

2) HOW MUCH IT COST FROM LAOXIMEN STATION TO SH RAILWAY STATION.

To be exact, there is no time limitation of the single ticket, but it can only be used once within connecting lines. Therefore, if u get out of People's Square station. This card should be returned. After your visit, you need get another ticket for the following trip. Anyway, for a direct metro ride from Laoximen to SH Railway Station, it costs CNY3 per person.

Hi, Jackson and John. As I know, the single ticket is only valid within the day you buy it.
