About:Chinese Embassy in Zimbabwe

does the china embassy in Zimbabwe take the medical examinations to issue visa?

Which type are you going to apply? If you apply for a Z type, you should take the physical examination at the appointed hospitals in order to apply for your work permit. For other types, medical examination is not required.
