About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit

We are going on a Princess cruise on Sept 3rd 2014

We (my wife and I) hold dual citizenship from Canada and Trinidad and Tobago. We visited China in 2012 and this time will be leaving Toronto on Sept 2nd 2014 landing at Pudong airport at 12.05pm on Sep 3rd then we will take a Princess bus to the port, to board our ship which leaves at 5pm the sae day.
In as much as we are not spending any time in China, can we get a transit visa and if so what does it cost. We await your response.
