About:Beijing South Railway Station

Is there somewhere to leave my suitcase for a few hours before getting the train?

I will be leaving Beijing in the evening but must check out of my hotel at midday. Can I check my case in early or is there a left luggage?
If so could anyone also tell me the phrase for 'left luggage' or 'check in' in Chinese?
Thank you

Yes, all the railway stations in Beijing have left luggage service. Usually you can find a left luggage office near the exit or entrance of a station. the staff there wear uniforms and the charge is about CNY 10 - 15 per piece each day.
The Chinese version for Left Luggage is 行李寄存 or 行包寄存.
