About:Special Services of Hong Kong Airport Express

what best to buy octopus card or airport express travel pass in hong kong?

We are 4 adults & 3 kids (2,6,10 y.o). What is good for us to use octopus card or airport express travel pass? We stayed at HK for 4N/5D royal plaza hotel. How much is the cost?

As for your case, I suggest you buy a normal octopus card, which can be used on MTR, bus, ferries as well as Airport Express of course. A standard one costs 100HKD per adult. To use the local transportation, you need to deposit more money for convenience. Children between 3 and 11 years old get some discount and your 2-year-old kid can take all transportation for free.
