About:How to Apply for a China Visa

I will be arriving in Chengdu on Sept 12,2014 from the US. I wish to go to a hotel for 9 hours.

What do I need to do to get a 72 hour visa?

Where will you fly to from Chengdu?
If it is another foreign country, you can apply to enjoy the 72-hour free transit.

H, Linda. I am sorry that I think I make you confused.

I think I have already known tht you from from USA, however I mean where do you leave for from Chengdu?

If you leave Chengdu for another international country or region, you can get out of the airport during your stay, otherwise, you cannot.

After I know where you will go from Chengdu, I can check whether you are qualified for the policy.

If you will fly to Kathmandu from Chengdu, you can enjoy the 72-hour free transit, so that you can in the hotel for 9 hours.

If you will fly to Tibet, the policy is not applicable to you and you need to apply for a single entry tourist L type for visiting.
