s2 visa extension for my son

My son is on an s2 type. how many times can I extend his S2 if I am on an X type. He is just 6 years old. I have no plans of leaving China any time soon. what happens after 360 days of a s2 type for a child. he came here in May 2013. I cannot send him out of the country to change the type. I am too busy and honestly I cannot afford to go with him.

You need to go to the local Exit-Entry Adminstration Bureau for pay for the fine first. Then you may be required to sent your son out of China.
There is no other better ways.

what is wrong with the people at the embassy. I mean, I asked them for an S1 but still they gave me an S2...isnt there any way I can claim this?
