Hello, I'm currently working in the U.S. (Miami, Florida), I have a French passport and would like to visit Beijing for 6 days.I read that I need to go to the embassy in Houston to get an interview, which is fine, but I want my visa to be done the same day using the same-day rush service. Is it possible? If not, what is the fastest way to get it done? Because I cannot afford to stay long or travel twice.Is it possible to send someone to pick up my passport?Thank you,Mickael

I heard that the same day rush service suspends now. It is still suggested to ask the Huston Consulate-General for confirming this. If they still provide service, you need to apply for it. If they do not provide this service, you can apply for the express service, which you can get your tourist one in around 2 to 3 days. But the consulate has the right to decide whether you can enjoy the expres service. You can ask someone to help you to pick it up for you.
