multiple entry visa for tourists

Question

Are there longer than 30 day ones with multiple entries available. In order to visit parts of china then say go to japan for a  short tour and return to tour china to see more....etc

you can try to apply for the longer duration of each stay, but whether you can get it depends on the local Chinese embassy.
