Resumption of Chinese Citizenship

My wife is a Chinese citizen but she is thinking of becoming an Australian citizen (like me). In the event of my death however she would like to return to her family in China. Would she be able to resume her Chinese nationality?

Noel, she has very little chance to regain her Chinese citzenship again after she becomes an Australia. It's easy to give up Chinese citzenship. However, it's too difficult for her to get her citizenship back.
