About:Chinese Embassy in India

how to get visa for Indian as I shall get one for Thailand on arrival but for CAN

I plan to CAN via BKK

So your route is India-BKK-CAN, right? If so, I think you should apply for an appropriate one for China in India before you fly to Thailand. This is the safest way.
