About:Chinese Embassy in Australia

Tourist visa for a trip to Beijing , Xian , Shanghai , HK

Hi , I'm thinking about visiting china but not sure of the exact dates as I will be getting dental work done in Manila first . Can I get the L type and then book my trip afterwards ?

You cannot apply L first before you have round trip tickets to China, unless you have an invitation letter from China.

For working in Manila, if you can have a working permit in that place, you may try to apply through the Chinese embassy in that country.

Thanks Alice , I'm not working in Manila ,I'm getting my teeth fixed . So I'm better off booking flights and accommodation etc in china and getting mine for my holiday before going to Manila !

If so, it is suggested to apply in your own country with round trip tickets and hotel booking confirmation to make sure you can have a tourist type in the end.
