but i met with a bit of challenge. I got a full PhD scholarship from Ocean university of China sponsored by the chinese scholarship council. I got the admission notice and the visa application for study in china printed by the ministry of education PRC from them not long from now. At the consulate in Lagos i was asked to produce the (original guarantee letter and latest six months bank statement of account with at least 6 million naira in deposit from the applicant's sponsor in Nigeria). I explained to them that i dont need any guarantee letter since am on a chinese government scholarship. In fact i have to be exempted from this. Sir, is there any way you can help me look into this before i make my self available again at the consulate this coming Tuesday. Secondly, in the form V 2013 i chose multiple entries valid for more than one year from the date of issue. Pls how much does this attract for the fees?

According to the policy, if you can get a scholarship from Chinese government and applying X1, the guarantee letter and bank statement are not necessary. If you apply X2, you need to provide the letter and bank statement. There is no better ways, because the embassy has the final right. If the embassy has already accepted your documents, you may possible get your in the end. If you can provide any bank statement, it is suggested to take. It will be much better if you take. For X type, you may only get a single entry type with fare around 5000 naira.

Thanks.  I mailed you yester night about the unnecessary demand from the consulate of the guarantor sponsor letter in Nigeria which you replied. Pls am applying for X1 type. Help me inform that fair complexioned lady at the consulate about this and inform her that X1 does not need any guarantor sponsor letter. I have all the 8 items on the X1 requirements on the consulate board ready but its the item 5 that is just the problem. I dont want to be turned down at the embassy the second time like yesterday. I traveled all the way from Akure which is a bit far from Lagos. As per item 8 on the requirements pls what other miscellaneous documents will be required at the embassy? so that i can as well come ith them along side the 7 core requirements. if its possible you can post me the lady's private phone number to speak again directly with her. Dont worry and thanks alot. I have settled the issue of 6million naira. Am set for the interview. Pls how do i make my payment? is it by ATM i.e debit card and how much is it by express? I will like to pick it immediately after the interview.

You need to bring the receipt for the interview to check whether you are granted with a visa at the consulate one or two weeks after the interview. If you apply successfully, you need to use the debit card of any banks listed below (Stanbic IBTC，Wema Bank，Intercontinental Bank，Bank PHB，Oceanic Bank，Guaranty Trust Bank，First Bank，Skye Bank，Unity Bank，Union Bank) to pay for the fee and then pick it up. The express service costs 11000 naira. Usually, you need to get approved by the consulate if you plan to use express service. Please ask the consulates about the details.
